Subcontractors

We build with trade partners who take pride in the work.

Highlands relies on strong subcontractor relationships to deliver successful projects. We look for trade partners who communicate clearly, honor their commitments, work safely, and understand the importance of quality execution.

01 — What we value

What we value in our trade partners.

Five things that consistently separate the subcontractors we keep coming back to from the ones we don't.

01

Clear Communication

We value subcontractors who raise questions early, communicate field conditions clearly, and help solve problems before they affect the project.

02

Safe Work

We expect every trade partner to take safety seriously and support a jobsite culture where people go home safe.

03

Quality Execution

We look for teams that understand the details, coordinate well with other trades, and stand behind their work.

04

Reliability

We value partners who honor schedules, staff projects appropriately, and communicate honestly when challenges arise.

05

Long-Term Relationships

Our best subcontractors are repeat partners. We believe in building relationships that last beyond one project.

02 — Connect with us

Introduce your firm.

If you'd like to work with Highlands, send us a quick introduction. We review every submission and follow up when we have a project that fits your scope.

Bid invitations come directly from our estimating team — usually with drawings, scope of work, and a written bid window. Send your introduction below and we'll add you to the list when there's a project that fits.

Prequalification For larger pursuits, we'll request standard prequal information — insurance certificates, references, recent project history, and trades performed. Most of this can be handled by email; no special platform required.

Prefer email? Send to estimating@highlandsconstruction.com.
